Prayer Works!

As our group starts planning all the details of our trip I don't want us to forget and much less underestimate the power of prayer.  James 5:16-18 declares, "…The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops." God most definitely listens to prayers, answers prayers, and moves in response to prayers.

Another way you can help me in making this Christmas party a great success and a testimony to God's mercy and love is by regularly praying for our group up until and during our trip. 

As you pray I want to challenge you by asking that you pray specifically for the following:

• That we work in God's plan and have God's provision
• That we see many miracles during our trip. 
• That we not only meet our financial goals but we surpass them. 
• That we complete all the logistical details and planning part of our trip

Thank you.  I can't thank you enough for this, the most important part of our trip.
